I did not watch American Idol yet this season, but did run across a story on my news page with a poll. Overwhelmingly, viewers found Paris Tassin to be the best and most memorable contestant so far. The song brought Jenny from the block "Jennifer Lopez" to tears.
Paris Tassin was pregnant at 18 years old, and doctors recommended that she terminate her pregnancy because her baby had hydrocephalus, or extra liquid in her brain. Her baby was born healthy for the most part, although she had some hearing loss. Paris sang Carrie Underwood’s “Temporary Home,” ... which is about a single mom in a shelter.
